no tube transportation to Heathrow Nov 26th-advice on good car service?

Hello-
Just learned that tube service is down on the day of flight home from London (11/26). I am traveling alone with my 10-yr old daughter and want to hit the easy button and just get a car service. Anyone have a good one they can reccomend?
Thank you-

What time does your flight leave?

Asking because I might opt for the last night at Heathrow or Windsor (cab ride of about 20 minutes) for the night before.

Flight leaves around 5. We already have something booked the night before (late). And the tube is also out of service that Saturday (11/25) as well. I am just glad I learned of it before our trip! There are buses but I am not messing with that. The site said the buses would be jammed.

What site are you seeing this on? The London Underground engineering calendar says the work is from Acton Town to Uxbridge (nowhere near Heathrow) and from Terminal 2/3 to Terminal 5, as does the TfL journey planner. No official document says the buses will be "rammed". Even if it was true TfL do know what kind of bus capacity to provide.

The Elizabeth line has engineering work between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow that weekend, but the Elizabeth Line and the Piccadilly line tube are two totally different entities.

Is this 5am or 5pm you are flying at?

A number of people on this board have recommended Blackberry Cars or Just Airports. I have no personal experience with either of these services.

Exactly, there is a perfectly good Piccadilly line tube service running from Central London to Heathrow Terminals 2/3 and 4, with on airport buses linking from T 2/3 to T5- a ride of a few minutes. At Acton Town the Piccadilly line tube divides into 2 branches- one branch to Uxbridge, the other to Heathrow. The Uxbridge branch is out, the Heathrow isn't.

Nowhere does the article says the buses will be rammed, nothing even approximating to it. That is just imagination.

There are also multiple National Express bus (coach) departures every hour from London Victoria to Heathrow.

I see the TfL journey planner doesn't present the situation that well, especially for those unfamiliar with the system. It puts up a box in the Piccadilly part of the journey saying "part closure" yet if you click for the details this doesn't affect the particular journey at all, as explained above. Not very helpful.

We had hotel call a cab. Super easy.did that twice. Perfectly clean cabs metered so we knew price. Might consider that.
