Nine hour layover in London

My husband and I will be traveling to Paris in April. We have a nine hour layover at Heathrow airport each way. Is this enough time to leave the airport, do one or two things in London, and make it back through security before our next flight? We will have a carry-on and personal bags, if that makes a difference in what we can do. We would like to see Westminster Abby, the Wesley Chapel, and the Trinitarian Bible Society. Thank you

If you use the search bar and put 'London layover', you will find many similar threads. One is mine from last year lol. We had 7 hours in Heathrow and decided not to risk it, just stayed in the airport and rested/ate/shopped. It went by pretty quickly. I think it's possible but everything has to be timed perfectly and you will be rushing quite a bit. Many suggest a trip to Windsor instead of London bc it is so close. Good luck!

Do you mean April 2020?

A lot can change in 11 months, flight times may change - ask again in 10 months (or choose a flight with a shorter layover).

I missed the April part-good catch! Yes, much may change in almost a year...our flights got changed twice.

Or choose a flight with a longer layover, perhaps an overnight stay at a hotel at Heathrow. That way, you can have all the time you need to go into London and see the sights you want to see.
