I'll be staying in London with my 13 year old son over NYE, and am wondering if we might be able to see the fireworks without too much trouble, if I plan ahead. Ideally, I'd want to be able to see it near my hotel, so that we can get back without dealing with the Tube or other forms of transportation under those circumstances. If we stay near the Thames, like at the Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment, would that work? Where would we need to go to have a good view?
Any other tips or tricks for that time of year?
