Have it DVRd. Last week watched her Marie Antoinette show and decided to DVR that series. Also watch Secrets of the Royal Palaces despite episodes having some redundancy.
I repeat Lucy Worsley programs and always find something new and or something that I missed. I usually like the program better second time around.
I have begun watching Downton Abbey the original British version. And before that I watched Cranford
Really enjoyed the latter
Just now saw a PBS program announcement for the next episode in the series, “William the Conqueror,” this coming Tuesday, Jan. 14. Looks like the Bayeux Tapestry will be included, and lots of Tower of London footage. I wonder whether Lucy will be dressed in Norman or Anglo-Saxon costumes for the show?
As an aside, tonight’s The Late Show with Steven Colbert had a guest appearance by Lancashire actress Diane Morgan, who mentioned the Battle of Hastings, where, in 1066, “a man got an arrow in his eye.” Colbert said it was King Harold, and she said he knew more about it than she did. It seems that William and the Battle of Hastings are never too far from a TV program these days.
