Bassenthwaite Station are starting their Afternoon Tea Bus from Saturday 18 April.
It will run twice daily on Thursday and Saturday only, initially, for £45 per person. The trip is from Bass Lake Station to Grasmere return with a brief comfort stop at Grasmere (a comfort stop only, not a sightseeing stop).

Has anyone thought of calling the non-tea buses a “Bass Bus?”
This sounds like something I need to do. I appreciate the detail they provide so you know exactly what you are getting, e.g., no hot beverage served during the time the bus is on the move. I especially liked the detail of saying no dogs on the bus, but also no leaving your dog in the car while you are on the bus.
