There is a British tv series, where every week they go to a different English village and dig it up and find Roman ruins. They are all over the place. People find ruins in their backyards, under parks, etc. The channel is called "Odyssey - Ancient History Documentaries"
I wish someone would find the battle site where the 14th legion wiped out a force of Britains 10 times their size known as Boudica's rebellion.
