We are getting excited for our trip to start next weekend! I wanted to check and see if any of you have rented a car in London before and if so, did you need an extra form to be able to legally drive in England?

Renting a car in England is like renting a car in the U.S. No other documents required--other than your drivers license and a credit card.
You've just got to quickly learn how to drive on the "other" side of the road.
Along with what David said you would need, you will need to show your passport.
