I'm taking a RS London tour July 2015. Anyone confirm when plays run at the National/Southbank during July and August 2015? I can only find National's schedule through May 2015 on their website. Would not want to miss seeing great contemporary theatre while in London. And any experience getting 15 pound sterling tickets via their sponsored Travelex program? For UK residents only? Thanks!

I've enjoyed quite a few plays at the National Theatre but have only bought regular tickets, online or in person. Their 2014 brochure shows the summer/fall season re-starting July 15, and I would expect them to be consistent from year to year. Shakespeare's Globe Theatre offers another great, less contemporary, theater experience, also performed in summer time.

Thank you Lara for the National Theatre link. I see this theatre originated the play WAR HORSE now at the West End. I am excited to see what they show this coming summer 2015. Perhaps I'll get to see the 'next big' West End show at the very beginning of its run. Thanks for the suggestion to book tickets at the Globe also.
