At the request of Transport for London (who control the bus station, and also issue service permits for the routes between Heathrow and Victoria) stops are due to change at Heathrow Central Bus Station for all registered National Express services, as from 16 October 2026.
Outbound services (away from London) will continue to use Stops 7 to 17 inside the bus station.
But inbound services (to Gatwick, Victoria and the night service to other London destinations) will use new stops 1 to 4 on Consort Road (behind the bus station). Existing stops on Consort Road are normally used mainly for Piccadilly Line Rail Replacement buses (so that should be interesting when those are running).
This will ease pressure on the main stands inside the station, but may cause congestion on the replacement stands.
Doubtless new signs will be installed before this comes into effect.
