National Express Bus Heathrow to Bath on Sunday in July

I looked on the National Express Bus site for connections between London Heathrow and Bath bus station for a Sunday in July. The times for the trip were about 4 hours. Is it really that long? Is there a faster way to get to Bath? I had a difficult time using the site so haven't dared try to figure out LHR to Redding and then by train to Bath. We arrive at 8:30 in the morning from Barcelona and wanted to spend a few hours in Bath and then take the train to Oxford for the night.

I took that bus on May 2 last year and I didn't remember it being that long of a trip. So I checked and I'm seeing 2 hrs 15 minutes with no bus changes leaving at either 10:50 or 13:20. That was for Sunday, 2 July.

You might check National Express again for your actual date.

I bought my ticket at Heathrow after arrival, just in case my plane was late. The bus station in Bath is right next door to the train station. You'll have to check with the station about leaving your luggage.

Have you looked at National Rail for train schedules? They aren't available for July yet, but for Sunday, 4 June it looks like it's a 1 hr 15 minute trip, leaving hourly at about 15 minutes past the hour. There is one train change along the way.
