We are searching for the best, quickest routing from Munich to London and London to Paris for early June. Is taking a train better than taking the ferry? Any suggestions on lodging in London would help if it is near the major train station that we would arrive at from Munich.

Easy Jet has a lot of direct flights form Munich to London for much less than 100€ in June. Even if you had a rail pass the time savings alone would justify flying.

Travelling by train from Munich to London in one day is possible but you would have to leave very early in the morning and wouldn't arrive until the late evening. Flying is much faster even given the waiting at the airport.
