I am traveling for 2 weeks in Aug-Sept with my sister to tour England area. My husband (age 65 physically fit- frequent distance pleasure rider) is interested in coming and doing a multi day --6-8days-- Bicycle tour. What companies are folks happy using? Supplying bikes- preferably cruiser style townies-- lodging arranged, meals, moving all gear to next stop. Checking gear each day prior to departure riding 20-40 miles per day. Has anyone taken an itinerary that they particularly favored? Any you weren't happy with?
Departure location is flexible. He can leave from anywhere within England. We are basing ourselves in London with a 2 day stay over in Bath.
Our daughter did one of these in Italy for her honeymoon and loved it. Thanks

We haven’t done it but this company does a good job with self-guided walking tours, and I assume their bike tours would be good too.

I've ridden 12 self-guided rides in Europe, though I have not done one in England or the UK. All of the companies I have used supply bikes (hybrids, touring, or electric), hotels, maps, GPS, luggage transfers, orientations, and lunch/ dinner suggestions. All include breakfast; some also dinner.
I can recommend Pure-Adventures, who do a 8-day ride in the Cotswolds, which I have visited and thought was amazing. I've used P-A for rides in Spain and Italy and felt they did an excellent job.

By the way, I'm a few years older than your husband and stay active and physically fit. I'm sure you and he can handle the rides and I feel it's the best way to get to know a country and its people.
