Would love recommendations for lodging in Moreton-in-Marsh. My husband and I plan to spend 3 nights there in late August. We’ll be arriving by train and won’t have a car, so we’d prefer to stay somewhere not too far from the train station. Thanks

Depending on whether you prefer a B&B or a hotel and the corresponding price differences, we have stayed twice at the White Hart Royal Hotel: lovely rooms, great restaurant and service, and perfect location (literally a straight shot from the train station, at most a 10 minute walk with our luggage).
Check out Chastleton House while you are there and/or Batsford Arboretum. We also took a day trip to Oxford as well as a Go Cotswold tour of the Cotswolds while there. Plenty to do, as well as walks.
