In London and planning on using the Tube this weekend?
Be aware that there is no service on any part of any line (Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Circle) which uses the northern half of the Circle Line, and no service at all on the Circle Line. Saturday and Sunday, so they can check signalling.
Forewarned is forearmed. Workarounds are available.

I was plannning on heading into the center of town. As long as the District or Piccadilly lines are working I'll be okay. If they run into trouble, I'm staying home.
Or perhaps the buses if I'm in no rush.
I'm staying near Notting Hill Gate and used the Circle Line twice today, so this warning has probably saved me quite a bit of frustration tomorrow. I'll just have to allow extra time for convoluted routings
