Mexico, Georgia, La Reunion and Mayotte have been added to the Red List.
Travellers now arriving in the UK from these four destinations must enter the quarantine hotel at a cost of £2,285 for a solo traveller, even if they have had both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
That's the country of Georgia, not the US State.
Note that the price is the new revised upwards price now in effect.
The above only applies to UK nationals. None UK (overseas) nationals are not allowed entry arriving from red list countries.
not quite - arrivals on the Red List - such as now Mexico - have to jump through many expensive hoops and have a valid reason for arrival in the UK, regardless of citizenship
"If you have been in a country or territory on the red list in the last 10 days you will only be allowed to enter the UK if you are a British or Irish National, or you have residence rights in the UK"
