Which is your preferred Spa in Bath? Are the suits offered OK? How did you find the temperature in late April? Did you find it a good use of time for two days spent in bath? We are on Rick Steves best of England in 14 days tour:
We used the Spa at the Gainsborough Hotel & Spa which is right next to the Roman Baths using the same spring source. I don't know if you can book a day slot if you are not staying at the hotel as we did. The spa is wonderful and the pools are the best. I did have an unfortunate accident coming down the marble steps to the pool area. My feet where oiled and I was using those one-size fits all white spa slippers. I slipped and broke my big toe. This was right at the beginning of a trip - so be careful in those Spas, Lesson learned - take your own spa footwear with a grip if you can.

Oooooh. Good tip. Thanks.
As far as I know the only places you can take the spa water are the Thermae Bath Spa and the Gainsborough hotel. The Thermae spa has a fantastic rooftop pool but it is very busy and more like a public pool than a luxury experience. The Gainsborough spa isn’t huge but it’s very luxurious feeling. You can go for a spa day.
Neither place will supply a bathing suit. You have to bring your own.
