A friend is considering booking the Megaro Hotel near Kings Cross and St. Pancras Station. They could not get in to where we are staying. Does anyone have any feedback on it, and will it be easy to get around London staying in that area?

I booked this hotel for our May trip based on those very needs! Its near the Eurostar and 2 train stations. It also seems to be a frequent bus stop and Hop on Hop Off bus stop, not to mention Tube.
While I have not stayed here yet, the hotel got good reviews on Booking.com and Tripadvisor. I am looking forward to being near public transport when we need it!

From Kings Cross, you will be well connected by Tube, including the Circle Line, although a big station like this can require more walking underground: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/standard-tube-map.pdf.
