Hi. I'm just looking for ideas and advice about visiting Margate in the Fall.
Or, maybe another time of year is preferable.
Margate wouldn’t be on my top 20 or even top 50 places to see in Kent at any time of year! I don’t care for most modern art, so Turner Contemporary isn’t my ideal day out, but it is the town’s biggest (if only) attraction. Although the town centre has improved slightly since the Gallery opened, it’s still got a long way to go.
Autumn/fall is as good a time as any to go.
Rather than Margate in the Fall take the train one stop further to Broadstairs and enjoy the town and Viking Bay. Walk along the coast to Dumpton Gap along the cliff tops and back along the sea wall. You may even get a glimpse of the coast of France if the weather is clear enough.
Thank you for your responses.
