Manchester Laundry Drop Off?

Hi all,

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Manchester and we'll need to get some laundry done while in Manchester. Does anyone have a recommendation of a place we can drop our clothes off and pick up the next day? Thanks!

There is a self-service (free) laundry on the 17th floor. (It's part of the Hyatt House not the Regency). You could ask to see if they will let you use it. If not, they offer a service but should also know of any nearby. The hotel is on the University of Manchester campus surrounded by student housing.

I've stayed at the hotel many times when it was part of IHG and Hyatt. I was there month.

Thanks both! I've reached out to the hotel to see about options there, or nearby. I'll check out the one listed too. Much appreciated!

Frank II,

Hotel responded with the option to use the self-serve you mentioned. Soap not provided. I'll keep doing a bit of looking, but good to know we have that option.

Usually, the laundry facilities are only open to Hyatt House guests and not the Hyatt Regency guests. (Hyatt House brand standards insist a laundry facility be made available to their guests.)

Warning, it gets very crowded in the evening and on weekends. There are four washers and four dryers. The Hyatt House has numerous long term guests including many grad students at the business school next door who do their laundry at those times. I used to do mine during the day.

Thanks for the tip Frank. Still hoping to find a place to drop off and pick up. :-)
