First the good news. This morning at 0600 I got ready to try for the release of the limited inexpensive tickets for my daughter and I to see David Tennant in MacBeth at the Harold Pinter Theatre. I am thrilled to say I was able to get two tickets! I was so nervous at the keyboard! But, here is the dilemma. In my haste (I thought they would go fast and they did) I wasn’t cautious enough and after purchasing I realized the tickets are for the afternoon performance at 2:30. We had planned to try for the night show. We have already purchased tickets for a Houses of Parliament Guided Tour for that same day starting at 12:20. So, I hope I haven’t really messed up.
I emailed the Houses of Parliament just now and they sent me a link to go a check to see if I can exchange the tickets for that same day- early as possible. When I looked, there is only 1 ticket availability for that time and one other. (It’s a Saturday). We’d really like to keep our itinerary intact and not go on another day.
My question to you all is, do you think we can make the show at 2:30 if we went to the Tour entry time 12:20 we have? Do you have any other suggestions?
I hope I can work this out. I’m kinda bummed about my goof and now wish I had let my daughter, (who has way more experience scoring in demand tickets than me) handle it. Many thanks to you all if you can give me advice on this!
