I'm going to have about 2 hours before getting to St. Pancras to catch the Eurostar and would love to find a nearby Indian restaurant for lunch - does anyone have suggestions?
Well, there's a lovely branch of Dishoom in a great building in the Granary Square development behind Kings Cross and St Pancras. It's a nice area - there's a canal, a big open space that sometimes has food trucks or coffee vans, there's the big art college - and Dishoom is tucked around the left hand side of the complex of old industrial buildings.

If you want something cheap & cheerful... There's a road called Drummond Street near Euston Station (about 10 minutes from St Pancras) that has a couple of very popular Indian veggie restaurants offering lunchtime buffets. Hugely popular although it's not exactly high-class cuisine.
That sounds and looks wonderful! Thank you!
Note that Dishoom is VERY popular, so you're advised to book in advance. (Not a problem as you obviously know your schedule!). Just that if you don't reserve in advance, you risk not getting a seat.
It's maybe a 10-15-minute walk from St. Pancras. Check out the route beforehand on Google maps, and street view, so you'll find your way easily. You even cross Regents' Canal to get there! the redeveloped area is pretty cool.
I've walked into that Dishoom two or three times without booking and was seated immediately - although at slightly odd times, for example at noon (rather than the lunch rush of 1pm) and another time for an early supper at 5pm.
But no harm in booking if you know what time you'll be there.
The area around Granary Square still feels a little undiscovered. Although I was there briefly during Wimbledon last year and they had a big TV screen and deckchairs and a pop-up strawberries and cocktail bar, which was lovely.
