What do you recommend where to place my large suitcase (wedding stuff) in storage for 3 weeks? I am looking for safe and reasonably priced possibility. I leave from Heathrow Airport and am aware that they have luggage storage but wonder if there are other options such as hotels.

Are you staying at the same hotel at the beginning and end of your trip? Sometimes hotels will hold a bag if you are returning (although 3 weeks is a long time). You would have to ask the hotel.
Is the wedding at the beginning of your trip? If so, you could consider sending your luggage back to the U.S. using sendmybag.com. It might be cheaper than paying for luggage storage.
You could also check the price on stasher.com

I recommend stasher.com they are affordable and they have insurance covering your luggage. They can also store your luggage for 3 weeks and even more.
