We would like to store our big overseas luggage for a week in London while we take a train to other areas with just a small carryon. Do airports or train stations still have luggage storage? If not, what hotels may offer it? I appreciate your help!

A lot of the terminal stations have an Excess Baggage outlet.

your hotel from when you arrive may well accept to store your luggage until you return to stay with them.
I would ask, if you don't need your "big overseas luggage" for a week away from it, do you really need it at all? You may find that you travel lighter and easier without it???
