Luggage storage in Hebden Bridge

I am currently considering our route from York to Haworth (Bronte Museum!). We will be staying over in Haworth for 2 nights so not just a day trip.

I was planning on this option:
Train from York to Hebden Bridge, spend a few hours checking out Hebden Bridge, and then finally taking the bus (I know they have that service) or a taxi up to Haworth. However, it just occurred to me that we will have our luggage with us (family of 4; we travel light and plan on just having 3 carry-on rollers) and I'd much prefer not to have to roll those around with us as we spend a few hours in Hebden. It does not look like the train station has luggage storage, nor does the website stasher.com locate anything. Has anyone else been to Hebden Bridge lately and/or know of a solution to this?

Or, would you recommend a different route from York to Haworth? Is Hedbden Bridge worth visiting?

Thanks in advance!

If Hebden Bridge has a tourism office, contact them. They, or a hotel or pub, may hold bags for a small fee.

Yes, Hebden Bridge is well worth spending time in (this is the town website-https://visithebdenbridge.com/).

No the station doesn't have left luggage and I'm not aware of anywhere that provides that service on an organised basis.

The town centre is very compact and walkable, so a kind of compromise would be to take a bus down from the station into town (it isn't a long walk, but sort of long enough to be a mild inconvenience) then take the B3 bus up to Haworth afterwards.

In between the 595, 596, 597 and B3 there are 6 buses an hour from the station into the town.

It's the kind of place where if you pop into somewhere for breakfast or lunch, they may well be happy to make an ad hoc arrangement.

I know there is the direct hourly train from York to Hebden Bridge, I did wonder about going from York to Keighley (change at Leeds) and catch the B3 at the other end of it's route, but Keighley hasn't gone anywhere I can think of either and none of the app based sites brings up anything useful.

BTW the lovely old Movie Theatre in Hebden Bridge is the only one in the country to be run by a Town Council,

Each bus fare in West Yorkshire is £2.50, or there is a day rover for the county at £6.

Thanks to travel4fun and isn31c for your responses! Travel4fun, great idea re Tourist Info office. Unfortunately it looks like the Hebden Bridge Visitor Center has permanently closed but I did find the greater Calderdale Tourist Office which covers Hebden Bridge. Unfortunately they responded that they also could not find any luggage storage options via Stasher.com.

isn31c, thanks for the extra info----training from York to Leeds, then to Keighley, and then taking the scenic diesel/steam engine from Keighley to Haworth was my other option (and skipping Hebden Bridge). Would people recommend that scenic train ride over a few hours in Hebden Bridge?

What I would suggest is going there via Keighley and the preserved railway. It's a bit of a pull up from Haworth station to the village, but there are lots of buses.
It's well worth it, and do watch the Railway Children movie- either the original from decades ago or the recent remake.
As you are in Haworth for two days and the B3 is hourly, hopefully you will have the time to drop down to Hebden Bridge for a couple of hours unencumbered with luggage. I think it would be a shame to miss it entirely just because of practicalities.
