Luggage lockers at St Pancras Station

We will be departing St Pancras for Paris at 6PM on April 11th, which is a Tuesday. We will be arriving at St P from Cambridge at around 11AM with two carry-on bags we would like to stash for a few hours of final sightseeing. We plan to go to Highgate Cemetery.

Are there lockers available, and does anyone have a prediction as to availability? Ten years ago (in late Sept) I had problems in a couple of places; there were lockers, but they were all taken.

Anyone have experience, or a crystal ball?

This is a poor answer. We were in St. Pancras station about five years ago. Kind of an extension of a shopping mall. I do not recall seeing any storage lockers but was not looking for them either. You do need to check in about an hour or so early as you go through French immigration and security prior to boarding.

since the Troubles and with the London bombings there are no lockers on the railway network at all.

There is a Left Luggage office at St Pancras and at Kings Cross - across the street - where your bags are received by a human, x-rayed and scanned and kept securely.

Note that there is a note on their website saying that the St Pancras site is closed and Kings Cross is open. Have a look at the website and see if they would meet your needs.

You can go to a private company website like stasher where they make some sort of contract with a non-luggage company who for a fee will accept your bags somewhere, hopefully nearby, although you will have no idea of whatever security measures they might or might not have, nor how reliable they are.

The is an Excess Baggage outlet there. No lockers.

Probably the harshest review of a building which is regularly voted in the top 3 buildings in the UK.

Thanks for the answers. Here's what I found, for others who may be interested.

Excess Baggage seems the most safe and convenient. Price per item is 7.5 pounds for up to three hours, 15 pounds for up to 24.

Luggage Hero is nearby but outside the station, at private businesses, similar to UPS stores in the US. Rates are per hour, 1.3 to 1.5 pounds per item, plus a 1.3 pound service fee. So, for our two bags for six hours: 30 pounds at Excess Baggage, approx 20-21 pounds.
They take reservations, pay when you arrive.
