Please share experience or knowledge regarding the Oxford & the Cotswolds London Walk? How much time is spent on each area? Comments regarding this walk? We will be in London for eight days in September and thought among several planned London Walks we'd consider including one Walk outside of London. We have previously experienced several in London Walks including the Cambridge walk; and have visited the Cotswolds with guide Tom on Best of the UK tour.
I took this tour 18 years ago, but I suspect it hasn’t changed much. There are basically two walks of approx 2 hours. We did first walk in Cotswolds and I think we also had lunch in the Cotswolds. Oxford was in the afternoon and we primarily walked through the are near the university. I’m sorry that I can’t remember more details. You really just get a taste of each place. I also took the London Walk that spends the whole day in the Cotswolds 18 years ago and I recall that it did not overlap with the Cotswolds and Oxford trip.
I just watched the video on the website. I had the same guide (Richard with the red cap) and I definitely remember him pointing out the place where Bill Clinton didn’t inhale. We visited the places shown in the video, but I thought we ended in Oxford. It looks like they start in Oxford. Either they have reversed the itinerary or I have just forgotten.
