London tube service on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve? How late will the Tube operate?

We are planning to attend the late night Christmas Eve services, most likely at the Temple Church. Should we have concerns that the Tube will stop running at midnight on Christmas Eve or will it run until 2:00 a.m.? Our rental flat is in South Kensington so too far to walk if public transport stops early and the taxis are difficult to find at 12:30 or 1:00 a.m. Are there reliable places near Temple Church to catch a taxi at that time?

As for New Year's Eve, I assume that the Tube runs very late since lots of people on the streets, correct?

Thanks!

The schedule hasn't been announced yet, but check tfl.gov.uk for updates nearer the time. Tubes don't normally run as late as 2 am, so it is unlikely that they will run as late as this on Christmas Day. Night buses are the late night option.

Normal last westbound train from Temple is at 00:33.

Nothing runs on Christmas Day so I would not be surprised if that time is cut back. It certainly won't be extended.

Have a look at the official timetable First and Last Trains at https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/tube/first-and-last-tube

In the past there have been no night buses running in the early hours of Christmas Day. Routes that normally run 24 hours a day stop around midnight or shortly afterwards.
