I had bought the Paris Travel Guide for Seniors. I liked the looks and the format.
I posted about it on Forum and one member felt that it might be AI generated. I tended to agree. At the time, it was a put off but i liked the book and felt it offered good information that was valuable to me, AI or no AI.
I did not take it wth me to Paris so I was unable to verify any information.
But based on my previous experience, I have bought London Travel Guide for Seniors.
Again I like the looks of the book and the concept. Again it seems to offer valuable information that I will be able to use.
But I have done some more research. This book is only sold on Amazon and has very low sales Approximately only one book a day is sold. This raised a red flag.
I once was a victim of a Brushing Scam by an Amazon Seller and I am wondering about who is behind these books.
Re the previous book, a forum member suggested that I not scan any of the QR codes. At the time, my old phone could not scan but I now have a new iPhone and can scan. However I have no plans to scan any QR codes.
I used gift cards to purchase. not a credit card.
Book is published by Golden Agers Travel Guides and Approved by Nadya Salie.
Guide includes a 3 to 5 day Walking Itinerary which looks clear, simple and attractive. Easy to read understandable maps, large letters.
But The British Museum nor Tate London is included. Tate Modern is.
I only noticed because I want to visit the British Musuem and Tate :London this trip so I tried to find information about these sites with none available. I found that strange.
But this is a suggested 3 tp 5 day walking itineraries focused on areas. Maybe the British Museum nor Tate London could be included.
I will review the book on Amazon and am going to contact Amazon about my concerns as to who the sellers are. Last time, I thought perhaps Amazon was behind the endeavor under a different name.
I do not understand why only one book a day is being sold because I find it to be a good travel guide.
Trying to contact a human on Amazon has become a production since they introduced Rufus, Amazon's AI.
