London Transport Museum Hidden London Tours

I’m interested in taking my family on one of the HIdden London Underground tours (touring abandoned tube stations) However, I’m finding conflicting information regarding bringing kids. I’m getting some search results recommending it for families, and some information saying the underground tours do not allow children under the age of 14. Anyone have the definitive answer on this? Thanks!

From the official website for several tours I have checked- https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/hidden-london

"Children under 14 are not permitted on this tour. 14 to 16-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult."

It is clearly in the 'More Tour Information' for each individual tour under the sub heading 'Are Children allowed'.

This is just the nature of the beast- these are old tube stations and are simply not a suitable environment for Children, especially bearing Health and Safety in mind. In the UK the legislative environment is quite rightly that everyone is responsible for everyone else's H and S at all times.

However they also have this you tube channel where even more of the stations are visited- many of which could never be made available to the public- but some can. In season (restarts in September) there is a new video every Saturday evening at 6pm UK time-

Thanks for the confirmation. Yes, I’d seen that age restriction listed on some of the tours, but not all and then other sites were recommending the tours as fun activities for families, so it was a bit confusing. Unfortunately, my youngest will be 12 at the time of the trip….too bad because I know the family would absolutely love it. Oh well. For future trips!
