A few years ago, I traveled to London using a hired pre-arranged car from Heathrow to Kings College in London. I can't remember the car service name. - it might have been Blackberry, but not sure. I have an upcoming trip to London and arriving again at Heathrow and need to get to my hotel in London. Can you make suggestions on a car service that will pick me up at a designated spot at Heathrow and take me and my husband to our hotel.
I used blackberry cars last year to get to heathrow. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if the need arose. If you don’t mind using the tube the Piccadilly line goes right to kings cross and would be significantly cheaper.
Oops. Misread the original post as kings cross.
If you are going to King’s College you might consider taking the Elizabeth Line to Tottenham Court Road and a cab from there to whichever KCL building you are going to.
I would be using one of the train services for this - but which does depend on exactly which part of King's College you are going to. If you don't want to walk at all you can always get a taxi for the last part. It will be so much quicker.
thanks for the info on the car service. On this trip we are not going to Kings College...that was a previous trip as I noted in my request. For this trip, we have been booked (last minute) into a hotel called Brooklyn. If anyone has knowledge of it, please let me know what you think.
Are you talking about the Brooklyn House Hotel?
If so, why are you staying there? It is in Zone 5 near the last stop of the Piccadilly line.
The only Brooklyn Hotels I can find in the UK are in Manchester and Leicester, not London. As Frank says there is a Brooklyn House Hotel, which is a glorified B&B in Southgate, miles from central London.
Until we can establish where you are staying we can't offer any sensible advice on how to get there from Heathrow.
