Hello!
Is anyone aware of a London day tour that has both St Pauls and Westminster Abbey on the itinerary? I seem to be finding one or the other.
Thanks!
I’m confused as to why you need a specific day tour. Are you coming from outside of London and needing transport, or do you just need a tour of the churches themselves?
Both the Abbey and St Paul’s offer their own guided tours, or you can go self-guided. You can book tickets in advance or pay on the door.
However I wouldn’t try to do them both in one day. Westminster Abbey admittance times tend to be about 9.30 till 3. I reckon you’d need 2-3 hours to see it all.
St Paul’s is on the other side of London and last entry is at 4pm usually, but you’d want to be there much earlier if you want to climb the dome and see everything.
So it would make a very full day with both of them.
I don't know of a tour that includes both, but I would have no problem seeing them on the same day. You could visit Westminster Abbey in the morning, perhaps taking either a Verger tour or the Hidden Highlights. After lunch, you could see St Paul's. There is a highlights tour offered throughout the day until 3pm and it lasts about 30 minutes.
As state, both offer guided tours. All you would have to do is make your way between them. Not difficult to do.
