I'll be in London Easter weekend and then am flying to Kraków on Tuesday afternoon. I was thinking maybe I could take a train to Windsor early Monday morning , find a BNB for Monday night and the go from there to Heathrow Tuesday afternoon. Does that sound like a good plan and if so, any suggestions for a B and B?

That should work fine. We stayed overnight n Windsor on a trip a few years ago. Our B and B was fantastic, but I see they are closed now. They recommend this one:
Which may also be a Rick Steves recommendation. The Langton House website says a Windsor Taxi from there to Heathrow will be £16-18, which is not bad. We caught the bus and it took almost an hour.

Rooms available but I am still looking at B&B's in Windsor. Looking at The Farmhouse but wondering if it's too far from the center of Windsor.
