London to Belfast

I am planning a trip to London in early July. While visiting, I would like to go to Northern Ireland since my ancestors from Derry. Is it best to fly from London to Belfast? Is it reasonable to fly from London to Belfast, Belfast to Edinburgh. then take the train back to London? I have roughly two weeks and realize I am trying to squeeze a lot into one trip. I am traveling to London because I want to see the Stonehenge exhibition a the British Museum so London is a priority.

You could fly directly to Derry. Loganair flies from Stansted Airport to Derry nonstop daily.

Loganair also flies from Derry to Edinburgh three times a week. Also nonstop.

Or you could use the itinerary you wrote London to Belfast, Belfast to Edinburgh and then the train down to London.
