Can anyone here recommend a good private tour guide that can do a full day tour from London to Bath with stops in Avebury, Stonehenge and 1-2 other stops along the way. Preferably with a guide that's recommended in Rick Steves' book but that's not a deal breaker. Thanks in advance.

Just for clarity: are you looking for a company to transfer you and your luggage from London to Bath, with stops along the way? Or are you looking for a day trip that will start and end in London?

I am looking to be picked up at London airport, likely Heathrow, and be transferred to Bath with a tour along the way. It would be for 2 or 3 people total. Thanks.

I don't have a company to recommend but I will say that touring Stonehenge and Avebury plus the ride from London to Bath is enough for a full day without 1-2 other stops.
If you don't find anything, there are day tours from Bath that will take you to Stonehenge, Avebury and some nearby villages. I've used Mad Max tours several times.
