I also enjoy Theatre Monkey for seat/theatre reviews. http://www.theatremonkey.com/shows
I buy direct from the theatre the show is playing or discount same day tickets at tkts counter.

TheatreMonkey has detailed information on seating at all the theaters. It seems common for the closest rows to be below the level of the stage, giving folks sitting there a rather odd perspective. TheatreMonkey warns about such things.
