London Shows on the west end to watch

Hello everybody,

Me and my girlfriend will be in London on October 12th and are looking to do one of their broadway style shows.

I know phantom of the opera is historic, so that’s what we are leaning towards right now. It would have to be an earlier show and that works because it’s at 2:30pm.

Do you all have any suggestions on MUST SEE if we can only pick one (we have never been to any broadway style shows)

I think you need a big production as a first timer; so I agree Phantom or Les Mis would be great. We actually saw Les Mis nearly 10 years ago in London. Have a wonderful time!

There are so many awesome productions to see in your future!

Hamilton!!!! IMHO it is a work of absolute genius. I am so old that I saw Phantom when it opened on Broadway, and it is amazing. So is Les Mis, for all that. But Hamilton made my bones shake and my heart sing.

There are still seats in October: https://hamiltonmusical.com/london/

We just saw Hamilton at the Victoria Palace last week. If you haven't seen it yet, it is an absolute must. I had seen the movie and thought that was all I needed, but my wife really wanted to go and I'm glad I did.

Hamilton, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miz or Lion King.

For a classic blast from the 1950's past, we'll be seeing Guys and Dolls in a couple of weeks.

I saw the Phantom of the Opera with my friend last December. We splurged on a box which was an amazing experience, from special butler service and champagne to a unique view of the stage. I have seen the Phantom in NYC and San Francisco and the London cast was excellent. I also saw Hamilton two years ago in London. I love Hamilton and have seen it several time (NYC and San Francisco), the London cast was also excellent. You won't be disappointed in either.
