Good Morning,
I've got an apartment in London's Fitzrovia neighborhood (across from Fitzroy Square Garden) for a week this September. Looks like a fairly quiet, residential part of town. Anyways, if you're familiar with this part of the city, can you please recommend a local market or grocery shop to pick up a few essentials? Maybe even some information about this part of town. Anything and everything helps.

Ed, Google Maps satellite view is your friend especially the street view option. Try it. Go to Google maps and type in the address of where your Fitzrovia flat is located. Choose the satellite view option. When the street view pops up click on that and lo and behold with a little bit of a learning curve you can see what is nearby. Its a brilliant travel resource. I use it to locate the closest tube stop, market, coffee shop
and pub. You've chosen a pleasant neighborhood to stay in.
