Arsenal fan visiting from the States and I would like to watch the match with Arsenal fans in a friendly pub in London. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
Finsbury Park / Tollington Park / Blackstock Road is probably the best neighbourhood to watch Arsenal games. The Twelve Pins at Finsbury Park is one I've been to. There's also Tollington Arms, The Gunners and The Blackstock.
The Boston Arms is a good one, which is directly opposite Tufnel Park tube station.
Tollington Arms is the most famous, very close to Emirates, and the only one I've been to. Any pub within walking distance of Arsenal or Holloway Road tube stations will be a Gunners pub.
Never seen a Spurs game from there though. If you are wearing colours, make sure you don't go to the wrong pub!
UP THE GUNNERS!
Thanks for all of the recommendations. Since I will be wearing the Arsenal shirt, I’ll send my wife in first to make sure I got the right pub.
OP do you know where exactly your accommodation is located. Asking because most pubs have more than one screen to watch.
If you arrive a day before stop in the closest pub and ask if they’ll be showing the match.
The World’s End in the Finsbury Park neighborhood is an Arsenal bastion.

We're staying by Victoria Station, but I'm willing to go anywhere to see the match with Arsenal fans. I saw them at Highbury the last time we were in London (25 years ago - Bergkamp!), but can't justify the cost nowadays, especially at Spurs.
Fellow Gunners fan here. Definitely go to Tollington Arms. Get in early. We met amazing fans there last year.
I like that, send the wife in first - good plan!
