London pub for watching football (English)

I will be in London for 2-1/2 weeks in early November for general tourism except for Saturday, Nov. 5th, when I go to Lewes for Bonfire Night. I am hoping to attend a Premier League football match during the vacation. I looked at the schedules for West Ham, Tottenham, and Crystal Palace (previous posts on this board suggest that it is impossible to get tickets to Chelsea or Arsenal), and find that the matches are played on Saturday which conflicts with my plans. However, there is a Arsenal vs Tottenham match on Sunday, Nov. 6th, which would work out except for the fact that the least expensive single ticket I could find is 180 GBPs. Ouch - the prices go much higher. So my backup is find a friendly football oriented pub, maybe in the area of Emerites stadium, to watch the match and have lunch. Any suggestions? I am impartial to both teams and can root for either one.

what you need is matchpint to find a pub showing the game

no need to head to the Emirates unless you particularly want to - pubs all over the country will show the match

the rivalry between the two clubs is intense so don't cheer for Spurs if you're with a group of Arsemal supporters, or vice versa

4 years ago, I happened on a sports bar - Sports Café - across the street from the Haymarket Theatre. I watched Wimbledon, men's semis and finals, on a huge screen with a goodly number of other tennis fans. That's probably not the only sports bar in central London.

If you want to have lunch, steer clear of pubs near the stadium as they'll be packed and almost certainly do limited or no food at that time. Try one in Islington or central London, where they will be quieter (though still lively) and more likely to be doing their normal food. Just wander round for a bit, you won't take long to find one showing the game. As has already been said, be careful who you cheer for. This will be less of an issue if you're in central London, but you still will need to exercise some discretion if you are cheering for Spurs and surrounded by Gunners fans, or vice versa.
