I will be traveling to London for 5 days, landing at Heathrow and staying near Victoria Station.
Is a London Pass worth the money or should I pay as I go?
This is a case of having to do your own math. Will you visit enough of the covered sites to pay for itself? We usually visit so many places that are free and only ask for a donation, or aren't covered by the pass, that it has never been worthwhile for us. But your priorities may be entirely different.
Check this forum (and others), there are many discussions on this topic ... same answer as before, do the math ... and something else to consider, most places you can't reserve a time (if they are still requiring that), you just show up and hope they let you in without waiting too long ... FYI, it doesn't look like the Churchill War Rooms are on the London Pass anymore,
I think people tend to visit places covered by the pass if they have it rather than what they want to see. Work out where you want to go, then do the maths. Many places are free to enter.
There are two types of London Pass. One covers a set number of days and is good if you are staying for a short time and going to allot of sites. The other covers a set number of sites and is good for 60 days. It is good for longer stays But as other posters have said, do the math.
Thanks so much for your comments!
