London - Open House London walking tours?

Has anyone been on walking tours in the summer through Open House London?
They seem to have interesting and unusual tours -on architecture or boroughs around London.
The information for summer 2020 tours is not up yet.
It looks like in the past the tours cost at least £25. Is it worth it?

I also never heard of them, However, the tour company "London Walks" is marvelous and has dozens of walks daily. They also do day trips. to e.g. Cambridge and Greenwich. I went on several of each during my 2 weeks in London.

If this is what Laurel is referring to, it looks like a one-weekend event in September when a lot of buildings are opened to the public. Looks great if you're in London that weekend, maybe even worth a trip. I didn't see any reference to walking tours on dates other than the September weekend, but I didn't look very hard.

And London Walks is indeed worth checking out.

I haven’t done one but they are a spin off I believe of the Annual Open House London (a wonderful weekend). They operate under the Open-City.org name and do tours year round. Their website will outline their tours in greater detail. It appears most are external architecture tours by boat, foot, bike. If you not “inside” for the private buildings your going to have to go in September.

It is the same organisation who put on the September event. Their original and prime focus is architecture and that is apparent in their walks and events during the rest of the year.

I've been on their excellent walks during the September event (excellent like the rest of the event) but I haven't yet done one of the other events.

I'm on their email list so I see plenty coming through. They are well experienced and well respected - if I saw an event that appealed and I had the time I would do it in a heartbeat with them.
