I really liked Blickling Hall.

Kings Lynn - be sure to see the statue of Captain George Vancouver down on the quay.

Ely (wonderful cathedral) and Cambridge are both on the Kings Lynn to London (Kings Cross) rail line and well worth seeing.

I have wanted to stay in Cromer, or at least have enough time for a decent visit. I need Crab. And to catch a show at the end of the pier in the Pavilion Theatre. They put on a really good show each summer.

I've stayed just down the coast but was in a retreat and couldn't get into Cromer.

Hope you have a really good holiday.

I've never stayed in Cromer- north Norfolk was always a day trip for me from Southend in Essex. But Cromer is a small town, almost everywhere to stay is within strolling distance of the bus interchange.

To Blickling Hall you take the Norwich bound bus #44A/X40/X41/X44 hourly (half hourly at certain times (c 30 minute ride). On a Monday and Friday bus 1B runs to the Hall at 10.10am and 11.40am. The return journey will depart the hall at 11.50am, 1.28pm and 4.08pm. The National Trust incorrectly say this is the 1A and that it starts in April.
The 0919 from Cromer is the connection for the first bus to the Hall.

On other days it is a 2 mile walk on the long distance 'Weavers Way' footpath.

Cromer to Blickling is around 11 miles when thinking about a taxi.
