London- Mamma Mia the Party? Barbican Conservatory? etc

Any personal experience or reviews of Mamma Mia the party at the O2?

Dinner at the Mercato mayfair? Or dinner at Circolo Poplare?

Or the Barbican Conservatory?

These all look like things we are interested in doing, but would like personal experience reviews.

Thanks in advance.

Mercato Mayfair is a good place for a meal. Was there last November but only for coffee. Lovely conversion.

Barbican is interesting. I wandered about both outside and inside. 30 year career as a film and tv Location scout so this place was intriguing.

The O2 is huge. They’ve done an excellent job of developing the neighborhood. I throughly enjoyed the Line Art Walk. https://the-line.org/map/

If you do follow the Line Art walk check to see if the Anchor and Hope pub Riverside has reopened.

I can’t specifically comment on Mamma Mia the Party, but what I can say is that the common consensus is that ABBA Voyage at Stratford is by far the best Abba experience in town. So I would be doing that if you haven’t already.

Can’t comment on any of the ABBA related entertainments but I will confirm that the Barbican Conservatory is a very special place worth visiting. Check the opening times as it’s not open every day. The gallery often has great exhibitions as well.
