Last December, my husband and I were staying on Waterloo Rd near St George’s Circus and we used the above mentioned Lambeth Laundrette (153 Lambeth Walk). It was the closest, open self-service laundromat to our hotel. (I found at least one other on Google that was closer but it wasn’t open at night.)

The machines worked well and we met the nicest mother and daughter from Australia also doing their laundry. I always have the best interactions in laundromats.

We used this service last year if you don’t want to waste time doing the laundry yourself.

Yes, I was there Saturday 12/13 and found it clean and the machines in working order. Get change at the convenience store next door.

Also look at Lambeth Dry Cleaners & Laundry at 16 Kennington Rd - they are next to Gail's - they offer drop off laundry service.

There are several in the area - in Google Maps search on launderette near me.

Thank you a million times over…..these RSteves folks ALWAYS come through! We did the 18 minute walk to Lambeth and got all of our clothes washed…..and you were right…..the kind man next door that owns the convenience store was so helpful….all of the change you need and detergent! We left the rest of our boxed detergent with him to use/give away to another couple like us that needed just a couple of loads done and do not want to pack it for home. I so wish these laundromats would be all cards……like the one we used in Brugges, Belgium! Thank you again……CLEAN CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
