We will be in London in mid November. Are there special events or things to do during that time? Christmas activities? Christmas markets?
Christmas markets, Winter Wonderland, ice rinks, decorations.
See the earlier posts for other suggestions/more info.
If you are there for 8 November, the Lord Mayor's Show is a great parade.
9 November is Remembrance Sunday. Parade plus Ceremony at the Cenotaph in Whitehall with Royal Family laying wreaths.
Both these events will cause street closures.
November is the month I travel to London.
For years it was because of my career. Retired now and still prefer November.
As noted Lord Mayors Parade is in early November.
Remembrance Day is observed.

On Line Research WinterWonderland dates. See if Christmas Pantos are being advertised.
When in London Visit Liberty.
Websites to research and follow:
Westminster Abby
Kew Gardens ( Christmas at Kew is spectacular )
Check when Regent, Oxford, Bond and Carnaby street lights are going to be turned on.
If shoppers check out the Battersea Power Station renovation.
Stores like Fortum and Mason, Selfridges, Harrods will crowded.
If you ice skate there’s usually a rink at Somerset House. Not sure if there’s still one by the Natural History Museum.
I love London in November.
A lot of people recommend Winter Wonderland, you need to purchase entrance tickets. Also, a lot of the attractions inside cost. It’s like a big carnival. We wasn’t impressed last year when we were there.
