London hotel for travel convenience or neighborhood/attractions?

My husband and I are traveling to London in March for 4 nights. Looking at budget options for hotel like the Premier Inn. We arrive by train from Manchester, most likely to the Euston station and we depart on the Eurostar to Paris. The St. Pancras Premier Inn is well situated for our travel to / from London as it appears to be walking distance to Euston train station and Eurostar. (We will have full size suitcases.)

I researched recommendations in Rick Steves London book and most are above budget or booked for the Saturday we are in London. I also tried searching and reading the forum here for info. Premier Inns seem to have decent reviews and for us, the availability and in our price point.

My question is, should we book the St. Pancras Premier Inn for ease of travel to/from London, or consider options closer to attractions we will visit, restaurants, neighborhoods, etc.

I stayed at the Tune Hotel near St. Pancras/Kings Cross in June 2015. Low price and low amenities but convenient for a short stay. Otherwise, I'd look in the Bayswater/Queensway area for cheaper options that are still close to great transport options. We also rented a AirBNB in that area for a great rate.

I'm sorry.

Nothing wrong with that Premier Inn, and with buses and tubes you can get anywhere.

Nigel, there's a chance we may manage with carryons but not sure. It's not ideal but we will work with it! ;)

Thanks for the input and suggestions! Sounds like the Premier Inn or other recommended hotels in that area are sufficient. Are there good options for restaurants in that area (breakfast, possibly dinner), or will we need to most likely transport for that?

I've stayed at the Premier Inn St. Pancras and found it very good. Very quiet, excellent location.

Lots of restaurants in the area. Premier Inns have a huge buffet breakfast if you want to partake. Reasonably priced.

The hotel is directly across the street from the British Library.

I recommend the Jesmond Dene a small family run hotel on Argyle St. about 2 blocks from Kings Cross/St Pancras. It is more of a B&B - includes full English Breakfast and you get a discount if you pay cash on checkout.
