London hotel for 3 near tube

We are going to be in London mid June for 4 days. Need a hotel near the tube for 3 adults. We would like to keep the price between 180 and 220 a night if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

May not quite fit your budget, but we have a triple room In early June at the Best Western Victoria Palace near Victoria Station tube for about $300 per night. It's our first trip, so I can't offer a review, but it is mentioned in RIck Steves' London guide and has decent reviews on Trip Advisor. We'll be in the main building but they have cheaper rooms in their annex building.

"price between 180 and 220 a night if possible."
As said, is that GBP or USD?

We stayed at the Rydges Kensington Hotel, just a block away from the Gloucester Rd Tube station, in South Kensington. Immaculate, quiet, a lovely place, with terrific restaurants nearby.

We were two adults and our son (aged 14 and 15, for each of our two visits). We had an Executive Studio, which had a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. My husband is 6'5", so a long bed is important! Our son is 6'. I am 5'2". Want to guess who got the sofa bed?

I believe we paid around £ 229 per night. Worth every penny.

When we return for our next trip, we'll stay there again.
