London Hotel Choice, I could use the benefit of your experience......

I have narrowed my choice for a London Hotel for 6 nights next spring to London House Hotel or Premier Inn County Hall. I've stayed in several Premier Inns and feel like I get a pretty value for my money and I actually appreciate knowing about what to expect from the hotel. London House Hotel has been reviewed in a positive manner on this website, so I was wondering if people who have stayed in both the London House Hotel and a Premier Inn could give me the benefit of their experience and share a recommendation.

I know that there are many other great hotels out there, but I am pretty focused on staying within the cost represented by these two hotels.

Thank you in advance

“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”

You’ve found the Premiere Inns to be comfortable and with in your budget.

Why change?

In my opinion, the Premier Inn County Hall is in a far better location for a tourist. I lived in a flat about a block from County Hall when I worked in London and loved the location. It is an easy walk to Westminster Abbey, Covent Garden, theatres, etc. You can walk to the nearby Waterloo tube station for the Bakerloo, Northern, or Jubilee line or cross the bridge to the Westminster tube station to pick up the Circle or District line so you’ve got great transit options too.

It looks like the London House Hotel is in Bayswater which is a fine location, but nowhere near as convenient as County Hall

There is a new Premier Inn ( 2014 ) just a step or two from the County Hall location at the former lying in hospital , just as convenient , with the added advantage of air conditioning , which I believe is not available at county hall .
