London From Nov 6 To Nov 12, '24

Good morning,
My husband and I are planning our first trip to London and will be staying in the city for entire duration. However, we'd like to take a day trip outside of London. Do you have any recommendations for where we could go? Additionally, we're looking for hotel recommendations (no more than $300/night) in London that provide easy access to public transportation.
