London - Friends of the City Churches

This little video came up in my YouTube recommended today and I thought it may be of interest to some here.

I'd never heard of it before, but it's a short about Friends of the City Churches. They're a group of volunteers who look after the churches of The City of London. They're on hand to open up the churches, as not all of them open every day. They'll answer questions for visitors and welcome folks in.

They've got a great website which I'll link to below with a calendar to help you find a church to visit. Well worth a look.

I hope you don’t mind me leaping on the back of your post Gerry but I thought people might also be interested in the work of the charity Friends of Friendless Churches.
They look after and repair old churches, preserving their architecture and history. Similar to the above organisation you can also arrange to visit many of the churches. They look after some really old and unique properties mostly in rural areas.

No, not at all. That looks like a great resource for folks here interested in old churches too. They're doing good work by the looks of things.
